Insights into the Industry

London Fashion Week: Presenting the Spring \ Summer 2025 Collection

  • As part of my internship with Cent Magazine, I had the incredible opportunity to attend several exclusive runway shows during the S/S25 London Fashion Week in September 2023. Representing the publication, I covered standout events such as the Couture Concert by Weiyin Chen, MEDUSA: The Indian Collective Catwalks, Pearl Academy, TABEER India’s ‘Journey Towards Marvel Hill’ by Genaro Rivas, and the SAGABOI show by Geoff Cooper. Beyond the runway, the experience allowed me to engage with key industry figures, deepening my understanding of fashion's creative direction and reinforcing my passion for its fast-paced, ever-evolving landscape.

100 Years of Chanel in the UK: A Legacy of Timeless Creation

  • Regent’s University London offered the incredible opportunity to attend a talk by Elizabeth Anglès d'Auriac, President of CHANEL UK Region, as part of the Walpole Visiting Professorship series. In celebration of CHANEL’s 100-year anniversary in the UK, she shared how the House synchronises creation, craftsmanship, and culture to ensure longevity and desirability. Among the key takeaways was the idea of “Chanel time” – a balance between accelerations and pauses to protect artistic integrity. She also highlighted future challenges for luxury leaders, particularly navigating “the rhythm of heritage with the pace of new innovations.” An unforgettable experience.

Front Row Insights: Journalism in Fashion & Luxury

  • On October 9th, I attended the "Front Row Insights: Journalism in Fashion & Luxury" event at Regent’s University London, featuring Sasha Slater, Head of Luxury at The Telegraph, and Lydia Slater, Editor-in-Chief at Harper's Bazaar, in conversation with student Sophie Slater. The discussion offered invaluable perspectives on storytelling, media evolution, and journalism's role in shaping the fashion industry. Hearing from such inspiring editorial leaders was a unique privilege that reinforced my passion for marketing and communication in fashion publishing. This experience has further motivated me to apply these insights as I advance in my career.​
